Katie was born in Dublin, Ireland. She studied pharmacy in Aberdeen, Scotland, before moving to London and then back to Ireland. She now lives in Queenstown, South Africa, with her husband, Charlie, and her three boys; Hugh, Ruairi and Eli and her dog, Ruby.
