Kamali Ekeama

Kamali Ekeama was born in St Mary, Jamaica on the 1st of January 1965. His mother travelled to England with his grandparents when he was two months old. He remained in Jamaica until the age of seven and then joined his mother and grandparents in England in 1972. After attending primary and secondary education, leaving school aged 16, he has been a labourer, youth worker, care worker, teacher and, more all, as worker and/or manager. He currently works as a primary school lead mentor and extended day manager. He has written poetry from 28 and has two sons, 26 and 27; and two daughters, 8 and 16.
