Licette Hook
Licette resides on six acres outside a small Australian country town, sharing the land with her partner, two dogs, two cats, and fourteen goats. Working from home as a bookkeeper allows her to travel in their caravan and explore Australia.
Licette raised three children on a sprawling 100-acre Australian bush property that stoked their vibrant imaginations. Her oldest son Oscar’s childhood dinosaur obsession inspired her first book, written for all her children. Among varied careers, Licette found her most rewarding role as a teacher’s aide at the local primary school. There, the delight and creativity of the students deeply impacted her while bringing tremendous fun.
With a lifelong passion for reading and a spirit forged in the Australian outback, Licette hopes to similarly transport readers, immersing them in journeys filled with magic, adventure, and wonder. Just as beloved books have carried her to faraway lands, she aspires to craft spellbinding stories that spark inspiration.
