Gerald A. Archambeau
Gerald A. Archambeau did a writing course at Wellington District High School, in Fergus, Ontario, called ‘Writer’s Circle’ for six weeks. After being promoted to lead ramp foreman by Air Canada at The Toronto International Airport, he was sent to Montreal, PQ, to be trained in public speaking. After his training, he was asked to give lectures to the new employees by Air Canada and the IAM and AW Union on racist attitudes and behaviour in the work place. He went on to establish The Employee Relations Rights and Equity Committee.
