George Scott

Born and bred in Aberdeen, George Scott is a former trade union branch Secretary and District Organiser with the then Union of Communication Workers (U.C.W.).
A former assistant Secretary of the Aberdeen Trades Union Council (A.T.U.C.) and Secretary/Treasurer of the A.T.U.C. social club, George also worked as a research worker with the Trades Council when he went to university as a mature student. It was during this time that he was asked to organise an exhibition and write a publication on 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War.
Working independently, George decided to rehash (and, hopefully, improve) on what he produced for the 60th anniversary.
George lives in Aberdeen with his partner, Patricia. He is a father of three children.
