Gary Miller was born in Harlow in 1970, raised in Dagenham and now lives in Rayleigh in the county of Essex, England. A near thirty-year career in finance in the City of London came to an end in 2015 as a result of a stroke in 2013, whereby he had to learn to walk again. Though with his brain largely unaffected – allegedly – he found he had the time to write ‘that book we have within us all’.
He is divorced, with two grown-up daughters.
