Fiona Alexander Hamilton

Fiona Alexander Hamilton lives and works as an English teacher in France. Her interest in etymology and how languages are transformed over time led her to create the Tily-Wilma stories, which emphasise the closeness between the Latin-based languages. By recognising familiar words in another language, children are more engaged as their confidence grows and less hesitant in their efforts to understand and communicate with the other language. We hope you enjoy imaging the accents, the pronunciation and story.
