activities, as well as enjoying the more leisurely pursuits of reading, gardening

and playing bridge.

Thomas has taught children for many years and is now a semi-retired

Educational Consultant in Parkes, Australia, where she tutors alongside her

husband Bill, as well as running a charming B&B.

The novel I, Jandamarra was inspired by Thomas’s travels to the remote

Kimberley region of Australia where the land is still imbued with ancient

aboriginal spirituality.
