Erin Redfern

Erin Redfern was born in Ipswich, Queensland and spent most of her school years reading under the desk and decorating her exercise books. She entered the Public Service in 1978 working in customer service centres in Sydney (where she met her husband). At eight years of age, Erin’s daughter, Lani, became a junior wildlife carer with Erin supporting by doing all the scary, dangerous jobs. Out of this grew her love and fascination for the wild ones of our world.
