Dennis W. Magee
Dennis W. Magee earned degrees in wildlife science and forestry which led to a career in environmental consulting. His job involved conducting natural resource inventories and assessing impacts of infrastructure development. He has published four botanical reference books and teaches courses in botany. He conducted plant and wildlife research in the Canadian Arctic and the Amazon Forest. He has had numerous outdoor adventures in Alaska and the American West, as well as scuba diving and fishing, both at sea and in inland waters. He is married with two sons and three grandchildren and enjoys foraging, jujitsu, playing the accordion and cooking.
