Michele Del Campo

Michele’s art has been internationally exhibited and collected, and has won important awards like the BMW Painting Prize. Born and raised in rural South Italy, since he was 18, he has always been on the move, constantly uprooting and resettling in newer places. Currently he lives in Madrid with his cat Luna.

He paints his friends, relatives, or acquaintances from his frequent travels. His paintings are carefully composed narratives and reflect human experience and emotion.

When he is not working in his studio, he can be found walking the streets, cycling in the countryside, or sipping a cappuccino in a terrace with old and new friends.
