Lilly de Holanda was born in Holland in 1953, where she spent the first 18 years of her life. After having worked in London for a year, she settled in Italy, got married and raised three children. In the early nineties, she went to Turin University, where she got her degree in English language and literature. In 2016, Lilly got interested in the pilgrimage to Santiago, and after having walked the Camino Frances for 800 km, she started writing her book.
