Jeremy D. Crook
Jeremy The Jet Ski surfaced in the imagination of Jeremy Crook a quarter-of-a-century ago while looking after his young nephews and nieces in the Cotswolds where he grew up.
As a former British Novice Jet Ski Champion and a bit of an adventurer who still loves being on the water, Uncle Jez’s tales of daring deeds and mischief kept his young audience captivated for hours.
Having ridden jet skis on the Cotswold lakes and coastlines all over the world for four decades, he has many tales to tell.
Jez’s own son, Freddie, grew up hearing them and as a talented artist, created the illustrations based on the initial work of conceptual artist Tim Rochfort, an old friend of Jez’s.
Jeremy The Jet Ski and all the colourful characters in the book are based on real people who share Jez’s passion for children’s stories, adventure, and life.
