Claire Elizabeth Cope
Claire Elizabeth Cope has worked as a primary school teacher for nearly eleven years and has three sons; Joshua and twins Archie and Alfie. She studied Sociology, Psychology, Health and Social Policy and Politics at the University of Warwick and completed her Post Graduate Certificate of Education at Birmingham City University. Claire has been a keen writer from an early age – writing and illustrating numerous children’s stories in her teenage years. As an adult, Claire decided to pursue her dreams of becoming an author after her mother found one of her original illustrated books that had been in storage for over 20 years.
Claire has always believed in the power of books and reading in bringing joy and knowledge into children’s lives, and she has been passionate about finding ways to instil a love of reading in her own children and the children that she teaches.
