ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After completing a Bachelor of Education and Early Childhood in 2007, Cathryn has worked extensively with children in the education system for over 10 years. She has held many roles including Classroom Teacher and Learning and Support Teacher, primarily working with students with behavioural and academic challenges.
Cathryn's passion for supporting these students led her to her work with The Bluearth Foundation - a non-profit organisation that works in schools to facilitate movement and mindfulness amongst students and teachers.
Her knowledge of movement and mindfulness extends beyond just her work in schools, as she has also been a professional athlete as well as an accredited yoga instructor.
Cathryn's love of writing and poetry began at an early age and was inspired by her grandmother, Ivy May Brown. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
