Branka Beader was born and raised in a coastal region of Croatia called Dalmatia. A mere coincidence with Dalmatian dogs who originate from the region even though this story has nothing to do with them. This is a story of a small town girl, witty and bright, who sets off on exploring the world. In her early twenties armed with a degree in literature, as the civil war was menacing in ex-Yugoslavia, Beader headed to California, USA and never came back. Her travels took her across the globe. Moving around from one place to another she discovered the world and her own self.
She currently resides in Paris, France with her husband and their daughter. She teaches business English to business schools students and corporate employees.
