Born in London Penelope Alexandermoved from there to Spain as a young girl, being referred as ‘the girl with itchy feet’. Life went on and after her divorce she met her second husband who was the light of her life. He died very suddenly which left her heartbroken. She decided life in the UK was unbearable without him so she contacted a friend in South Africa. Penelope then opened her own restaurant in Cape Town called ‘The Poet’s Cusine.’
