The author is retired and lives with his wife, Sandra, in Somerset. He spent all his working life with the police as a cadet, constable, and a communications operator. He has two grown-up sons. His main hobby, outside writing, is family history research. He has written many poems, self-published two anthologies and had poems and articles published in various magazines and newspapers.
