Adam Andrews
He was born in Paddington, London, one of six children. He studied physics and chemistry and worked for ten years in various research and development establishments. Questioning what he was doing he quit work and emigrated to America, living in Los Angeles. He became involved in the struggles of the Native Americans and was accepted within a close-knit group of activists. He returned to England seven years later and spent two years with Greenpeace and other conservation groups. He later studied micro-electronics while he found himself trapped in a very violent marriage. He fought hard against Social Services whose arrogance and dishonesty destroyed his family life leaving his nine-year-old daughter fatherless. Having lost this battle, he moved to Turkey to care for an old flame who he hadn’t seen for forty years who was suffering from Cancer.
