A.B. Adair
Angela Adair was born in Essex in 1956, granddaughter to R.E. Adair, a well-known Irish and International cricketer of his time.
Born into a family of animal lovers and fascinated by the comical behaviour of the family pets, she started writing short stories about animals, some of which were included in school publications and national animal magazines.
When living in Rayleigh, she was given two kittens whom she named Mog and Tom, and it was their amusing and comical antics that inspired her to write the first book of ‘Mog and Tom’ short stories and afterwards went on to write another three books.
