The story is about a brother and sister, Lacey and Lloyd Jordan who live an industrious childhood damped by sorrow. Their mother abandons them at a young age and their father is in prison for ten years. The story develops itself into a gripping one when Lacey finds out that her foster sisters were disappearing under very peculiar circumstances. Judith Logan was a legal secretary and later an employee at the Provincial Court of Alberta. She had always wanted to become an author. After her retirement she started writing, Not Another Word! is her first novel.

Margaret is a Scottish author who met Jimmy in North Carolina while working as an Operations/Program Assistant at YMCA Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer. In 2015, Margret returned to Scotland which inspired her as a Children's Author following Jimmy's actual life events.

A moving tale of love, poverty, alcoholism and kindness that can transport you in time. ‘The Fisherwoman’ is a tale of a young girl from 1950s who fells pregnant after a rape and suffers prejudice in her small town until she is murdered. ‘The Last Supper’ is the fateful story of a farmer plucked from his village life by an artist to be implanted in the very different city life, where his fortunes boom but so does his troubles. The authors of these brilliant books, Sharon Plant is a very talented writer and a painter with over 30 years of experience in arts. She has accomplished a lot during her professional life and established London's innovative gallery, Aspects. She was a founding member of the New Designers Exhibition; Festival Coordinator for the London Design Festival and Director of ‘The Sorrell Foundation’. Sharon has lectured at five of the University of Arts London colleges and organized exhibitions for the Royal College of Art.

Newcastle under Lyme Library has arranged a full day reading session for local authors at the Literary Day. Ashridge visitors Catherine, is hosting a Book Signing Event which will be attended by Kelly Wright. She will be promoting and signing the copies of her children’s book ‘The Bluebell Wood’. A great turn out of attendants for the event is expected. ‘The Bluebell Wood’ is an engaging and informative picture book for children. The story is about a little girl who went to the woods full of bluebells and visited her friends there. Kelly Wright calls Berkhamsted her home and is an educator for pre-school age children. She was inspired to write this book from her childhood memories of a very similar bluebell woods. She also remembers writing a similar book at age 7, almost 34 years ago.
UK Southern Book Show will be attended by more than fifty authors to promote their books. Pauline Emsley will be attending the fair to represent The Tear Dragon and will also read excerpts from her darling children’s book for the audience. The Tear Dragon is an exciting children story about young Meredith who did not wish to go to bed and her magical tear of sadness turned in to a dragon who took her on fun adventures. It is a great bedtime story for young children. Pauline Emsly has a very vivid imagination that she combines with reality very often. Acknowledging to her strong imagination her mother used to call her a daydreamer. She is a keen storyteller as she believes this is a vital tool for learning about our environment which in turn leads to fulfilment.
